Nip It In The Butt
We produced this 11-minute documentary for the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute at Memorial University Medical Center through a Georgia Cancer Coalition funded grant project which aims to teach middle school aged children about the dangers of smoking. The challenge set out before us was to make a video that would hold the audience's interest while still educating them. We incorporated some scary statistics along with some first-hand accounts from some generous participants of many walks of life. In order to make the material more digestible, we broke up the program into smaller sections with an old-timey looking technique. This method enabled us to suggest to our audience that smoking is a thing of the past.
